About Me
I am a talented former video editor who has recently transitioned into Software Engineering. I learned art and design and animation in my college and I earned my master degree in Film Production. My art background and film production experience gave me numerous transferable skills such as UI/UX design, storytelling and creative thinking, but I have since put in the work to gain essential tech skills making me an excellent candidate for this position.
I attended App Academy’s 24-week, 1000+ hour Software Engineering program where I honed my expertise in Python, React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, AWS along with many other technologies. In my time at App Academy, I built several projects including Job Tracker, a job search management platform that allows users to easily track their job search status using Python, Flask, Sqlalchemy, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, Javascript, Css, Docker along with several others you can view on my resume and portfolio site. Given my project experience, I am confident in my ability to contribute from day one as a FULL-STACK Developer as I’ve built both alone and within a group using an Agile workflow with incredibly quick turnaround times.
I always do research and plan before I start design and coding. I love to do some deep research about what we will do and get enough information from others.
I love the design and coding part. I always use adobe XD to make some frame work design and then I will follow the design pattern to start code.
The last part is deliver. Before I do the final deliver I always do several times test to make sure we can ship a good product to the users.
